TripRider - Travel Planner App Reviews

I really am enjoying this App! It has lots of great features and I am able to use it with ease. I love the fact that you can attach maps and PDF documents to help organize your trip. I also like the fact that you can put in receipts to help keep track of what you are spending. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. There are a few things I do hope they change eventually. I like that they have a must do list. What I dont like is that you have to attach items on your list to a particular day. There are things I know I want to do on a trip, but sometimes I want it to be left open as to what day I am going to do them. Also, I would like the ability to attach more than one PDF to an event. Sometimes there multiple documents needed for an event. Other than those things, I think this app is well worth the purchase!

I purchased this app because I travel a lot. Very easy to use with lots if features such as creating a must do tag for key activities. The ability to add contact info for restaurants making it easy to call and confirm without leaving the app to look up the number. Best photo of the day feature. And the ability to create a PDF of the entire trip. Highly recommended.

I was looking for an app to organize our honeymoon travels and I found this one. It was great until it kept crashing. It is very frustrating. I wish that I could get my money back. I will give a 5-star rating when the crashes are fixed.

This is the most interesting and best travel plan app any traveler can ask for! It does everything and more. It takes some effort to fully utilize all the features, however, it is worth every bit of you time to do so.

This apps hits all the high notes. I have never used an app that didnt need a little (or a ton) of work. Most apps fall short, not this one. I cant find anything funky or frustrating when I use it, and it looks beautiful, too! Its as if it was designed for me or by me. Congrats on making the best app I have ever encountered.

This app is awesome for planning and recording trip, but I would suggest the ability to have a log in account so that the same trips can be synchronized and accessed from both the iPad and iPhone.

Too complicated to set a plan. Go here and there and input one by one. It does not show in one page. Good concept but too much trouble to input info too many steps - so many process to go through.

It has so many features and i used most of them on my last trip. LOVED having pre-saved maps available for the towns i visited, as i seldom had wi-fi. Had all my confirmations handy when needed. Enjoyed the currency conversion so i could know what the trip cost me in dollars. I will use the packing list i created for future trips and then just tweak them a bit. I used the diary feature and attached 3 photos and emailed it to friends/family each day of the trip, so they could hear what i was up to. The only improvement i would suggest would be for the ipad and iphone apps to sync with each other. It is a hassle updating one device and then looking for it later and realize i am looking on the other device that wasnt updated. I am not the first person to ask for that, so i hope the makers will get that done soon.

Im absolutely in love with this app!! It covers all the steps of the trip: planning what to do each day, packing, setting your budget, diary of each day, expenses during the trip, photos, and in the end you can summarize it all in one PDF archive. Amazing!!

My wife and I have used TripRider for a couple of years now, and have used it for five trips. It is the most wonderful tool that we have ever had to document our trips. Not only can we document daily expenses, but can also keep a daily journal of our activities. We can even attach photographs to her daily activities. We can then share selected portions of TripRider with her family and friends. We would be lost without it.

Just what I was looking for. This app does it all. From initial planning, to an on-the-road diary, and a printed PDF travel log when you get back home!

Love this app! It pulls together all the things I was looking for to help me plan our trip, including the ability to add a bunch of ideas for places to visit along the way, marking some as "must see" and adding comments so I will remember why I wanted to visit them. Seems intuitive and flexible, making it easy to rearrange days when needed too. Now I am using mapquest to plan the route, tripadvisor to scope out places , and if this were all part of the package I would be in heaven and willing to pay lots! Nice work!

Just got this app, but am loving it all ready! Im getting ready for a 5 week trip to Europe this summer and can already see this app is going to help keep me organized and have all my info in one easy to look at location, plus cuz Im a vintage lover, I love the vintage vibe it has. Thumbs Up for me..

I am in the process of using TripRider to plan a 66 Day Cross Country Road Trip and I Absolutely Love It! It allows me to plan my trip day by day, capture my planned expenses, collect associated maps, reservation confirmations, tickets, must see places and backup info. It provides a very fun look and feel and lets you keep a diary with pictures. I also love the summary it builds for you with the ability to print or send to others. I cant wait to use it on our trip, Big Fan!

I have used this app to plan three trip now and have found it to be very helpful in organizing all of my trip details - conveniently held together in one place. Easy to see trip details, to add/remove/change information, and organize itineraries. It needs a way to cancel/remove old trips once they have been taken. Hopefully this function will be added in the future

Got this for packing list. Category icons feature a razor blade for accessories, a syringe for medicine and health, y-front underwear for clothes, and toilet paper for other. Sorry to be picky but Yikes.

Ive been tinkering with this app for several weeks on some upcoming trips and its not real exciting. It you want an app that does NOT sync to other devices, and does not pull from your own contacts or calendar, then this is a cheap simple app that will be fine for you. I do like the checklists and planning areas. But other programs that do link to contacts and other things appear to be easier to use and can like between devices.

Nice promises but crash crash crash. 3 strikes and youre out.
